At each of our venues we run two courses.
Both these courses are on a pay as you play basis. There are no course fees to pay up front.
All our lessons are backed up with comprehensive notes
The current fee is £6.50 per lesson.
We offer a course of lessons that takes a beginner through a structured course of approximately thirty lessons that lay the foundations for a lifetime's enjoyment of this wonderful game.
Each lesson consists of a brief exposition of an aspect of the game. This is supported by course notes and demonstrations.
Specially prepared hands are then played which highlight the main points of each lesson.
Consolidation exercises are set at appropriate times to ensure that our beginners have understood the principles.
This course is aimed at those who have just mastered the mechanics and rudiments of Bridge, and those who have been playing for some time but need to develop their game further in a structured way.
This is achieved by presenting lessons that cover the most common aspects of bidding and the play of the cards.
Each lesson begins with a short talk on a given topic followed by a lighthearted quiz to test your understanding. We then play a set of prepared hands which help to consolidate and fix this understanding.
Players are consulted about those areas of the game which interest them the most and lessons are designed accordingly.
